Code of Ethics
Last Updated: 08-04-2026
At DMS Services, we recognize that our platform operates in a sensitive space involving personal data,
encrypted materials, and user-directed release workflows. This Code of Ethics defines the principles that guide how
we design, operate, and maintain the DMS.cx Service.
1. User Trust and Responsibility
We are committed to earning and maintaining user trust by:
- acting with honesty, transparency, and integrity;
- clearly communicating the capabilities and limitations of the Service;
- avoiding misleading claims about security, encryption, or outcomes; and
- placing user safety and understanding above marketing or growth objectives.
2. Transparency
We strive to ensure that users understand:
- what the Service does and does not do;
- what data is collected and how it is used;
- the distinction between encrypted content and operational data; and
- the risks associated with automated workflows and digital systems.
We do not intentionally obscure material facts that could affect user decisions.
3. Privacy and Data Respect
We respect user privacy and commit to:
- minimizing data collection to what is necessary for operation;
- implementing reasonable safeguards to protect user information;
- avoiding unnecessary access to user data;
- not selling personal information; and
- handling all personal information in accordance with applicable laws.
4. Security Integrity
We are committed to:
- designing systems with security as a priority;
- using industry-appropriate safeguards;
- continuously improving security practices; and
- promptly addressing vulnerabilities when identified.
We acknowledge that no system is perfect and will not represent security as absolute.
5. Responsible Product Design
We design the Service with an awareness of its potential impact.
We commit to:
- avoiding features that create unreasonable risk or confusion;
- providing clear warnings where misuse or misunderstanding could occur;
- encouraging users to test workflows before relying on them; and
- reinforcing that the Service is not a substitute for legal instruments.
6. Accountability
We accept responsibility for:
- operating the Service in good faith;
- addressing user concerns in a timely and respectful manner;
- correcting errors when identified; and
- maintaining internal standards aligned with this Code.
7. Fair Use and Misuse Prevention
We will:
- take reasonable steps to prevent abuse, fraud, and harmful use of the Service;
- enforce acceptable use policies consistently; and
- cooperate with lawful requests where required.
8. Independence of User Decisions
We recognize that:
- users retain full control and responsibility over their decisions;
- designated verifiers and beneficiaries are chosen by users; and
- outcomes depend on user configuration and third-party actions.
We do not interfere with user decisions except where necessary for safety, compliance, or legal reasons.
9. Continuous Improvement
We are committed to ongoing improvement by:
- learning from user feedback;
- monitoring system performance and risks;
- adapting to evolving legal and technical standards; and
- updating our practices when necessary.
10. Ethical Communication
We commit to:
- avoiding exaggerated or absolute claims;
- clearly distinguishing between intended design and guaranteed outcomes; and
- communicating in a manner that promotes informed decision-making.
11. Compliance with Law
We operate in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including those relating to:
- data protection and privacy;
- consumer protection; and
- financial and digital services where applicable.
12. Commitment
This Code of Ethics reflects our commitment to responsible operation and user-centered design.
We hold ourselves accountable to these principles in all aspects of the DMS.cx Service.
